True Story: This is a random picture taken in 2015. It was taken here in the Pacific Northwest where I begin the newest chapter of my life in 2011. It was good to meet someone who looked similar to me. To my memory, he's heterosexual but was promoting his business at a #BlackLBGT event. Personally, I am committed to not only dealing with issues of sexuality but especially issues related to black men and homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgender issues.... A lot of men in the Black Community, especially black men in the LBGTQY Community, are afraid.... Afraid to be left.... Afraid to be rejected.... Afraid no one will love them... And in that fear, one black man will harm, slander, and sometimes even kill another black man who is an image of someone who has it within his spirit to help his brother see that fear for what it is... FEAR.... Fear is a liar.... Fear is a deceiver.... Fear will mislead you.... We have to get to a point where a black man, all black men, are comfortable in their skin.
