Bit o’ Post...
Last night, started doing some dialogue editing for Retribution with my colleague, by implementing a guide we were given, setting up some tracks, listening to the audio provided by the picture editor and making on notes on what we thought needed to be replaced.
After this, I asked if my colleague would like to give me a hand doing some audio-post for the boxing documentary I had done location sound for. The director sat with us as we went though it while we cleaned up some dialogue and smoothed out some sounds with a bit of EQ and changed some levels.
I’ll post a link to the final product as soon as it is completed.

Boxing documentary - “Blackledge”
Today I did production sound for a Boxing Documentary for Dave Green. It was a really good day and a good day for learning.
I got a lot of wild sound as we were in a gym and this was also where the interview was taking place. So while some boxing lessons were on, I took a little walk around the gym and captured sounds from all angles. During the interview, an extremely loud heater came on and off intermittently, which was quite annoying but I think I captured enough of it so it could be placed underneath in post to give the interview consistency.
Another really fun day and I think I will be doing some post work on this one so I will let you know when it’s done and where you can find it!
