Over my years as an artist and educator, I have made friends with and broke bread with so many different types of people. We do not have to participate in the same lifestyles but that doesn’t mean we treat them horrible or excuse any and all mistreatment and or death. I stand for all black people of all sexualities and lifestyles. I stand for Black Women and Black Men. If you are offended by my support for Black people as well as anyone who is LGBTQ, you do not have to follow me. How someone chooses to live their life is of no worries to me nor should it be to you. You should not bash or commit acts of violence against anyone just because of the color of their skin or who they choose to love. And before you put your lips together, peep history and learn of all of the injustice done to Black people as well as Black LGBTQ.
