I know I’m likely to get negativity for saying this but, I do not and never will be pro Planned Parenthood. As a person of color, I cannot and will not support a group who’s original aims and goals were to demolish/control people of color(mostly African Americans). Margaret Sanger, the founder, was a eugenicist.
For those who do not know, here’s Wikipedia’s definition of eugenics:
Eugenics is a set of beliefs and practices that aim to improve the genetic quality of a human population by excluding (through a variety of morally criticized means) certain genetic groups judged to be inferior, and promoting other genetic groups judged to be superior.
Also, just so y’all know, Margaret Sangers target was not only people of color, but all those that were disabled, mental and physical.
