idk if the show will address it head-on ever i doubt it tbh but this whole show is just. watching the men in elizabeth’s life and the way they ignore her autonomy and lie to her and manipulate her into doing whatever they want under the assumption that they know what’s best for her more than she does. again and again and again! everything reddington ever does, everything tom ever does, ressler chasing her down when she was on the run, this constantin guy who claims to be her father trying to make her stay away from reddington. then there’s red calling her lizzie and constantin calling her masha, she doesnt even get to decide the name that she’s called because when she tries they dont listen!! Like the majority of the men around her don’t respect her as her own person and it drives me crazyyyyy i need her to get out of there!!!!!
