Repost @hoodmidcenturymodern Been noticin some of HipHop’s first typefaces or fonts or whatever y’all call it during it’s origin years of the 70’s and 80’s were ART DECO, ART NOUVEAU…wyt? Come to think of it - in the 90’s when the person computers started being everywhere. I remember everybody I knoww (black folks haha) homemade birthday party fliers were ART DECO and ART NOUVEAU.
