If you keep recruiting nothing but foppish, ambiguously thirtysomething men with immaculately groomed goatees, of course they'll find common ground to unite them against you. That eye is almost as obvious as mine and that makes me so fucking emotional. This is their big heroic scene, they've done it and they saved stars and they're both okay. And Ryan's lazy eye is so so noticeable. They did it and he looks like me. He saved TWO worlds and he did it with the same disability that I've been bullied and ostracized relentlessly for.

And THATS why this movie is so special to me. On top of it just generally being a cinematic masterpiece, the main character has my disability. Usually we're portrayed as stupid, as insane, as cooky. But he's the smartest person in the whole fucking universe here.

And THATS why diversity is so fucking important.

We so need to normalise other body types in the therian community, seeing a poc/chubby therian should be way more common

Buying copies of banned books is awesome, but I also want to put this out there. If anyone is in college and/or has access to peer reviewed academic journals PLEASE do the following:

Buy USB drives

Download as many articles from academic journals in the coming months as you can about topics under attack, such as gender variance, DEI, critical race theory, racism, reproductive rights, climate change, and so on. Maybe pick one or two journals and topics to focus on per month! (There may be pay walls or limits on how many you can freely download)

Keep them organized on your USB’s by topic or journal

We don’t really know what will happen, what will get erased or censored from the web, but they’re already taking websites down related to DEI and reproductive rights. We need to work together to save the research and literature that we have!
