💋 : Is your OC a good kisser? How do they do it?

Cautious, then all at once. The first few seconds of kissing Delia is nearly always a bit awkward, a bit stilted while she gets her bearings. She has a tendency to freeze up a bit at first contact, no matter how badly she wants said contact. But the moment that barrier is broken? Her whole body melts into her partner, like gravity itself is tugging her to them. It’s a very zero to one hundred experience from a woman who often keeps herself straitlaced and bottled up.

🦴 : Does your OC have much sexual experience? What are they like?

Some, but not much. She’s always had excuses as to why she’s not dating (while her brother was, apparently, methodically working his way through their boarding school in what seemed to be alphabetical order) but the truth is she never had much luck with social endeavors. She was certainly attractive, but she carried a general aura of “otherness” that was just off-putting enough to ward off any casual pursuers. She lost her virginity at some point during university, and it was… fine. Nothing memorable, and certainly nothing she chose to repeat.

Sex with Delia is exactly like kissing Delia — slow to start, but passionate in the end. She needs to be coaxed out of her shell, but the moment she’s out she craves closeness like a drug. She needs to be close, as if crawling into her partner’s skin would perhaps be an option she’d pursue should it be possible. It’s intense, but it’s beautiful.

💐 : What is their courting style? How would they woo someone?

It’s simple, really.

She will stare at you longingly until you perhaps notice, still managing to subject you to at least six layers of emotional vetting before she allows you into her innermost thoughts. You’ll begin to find expensive, oftentimes quite odd gifts at your doorstep, and bouquets of flowers (with meanings she’s handpicked with zero thought given as to whether or not you speak the language of flowers) without any sort of card or note. Once you’ve made your way into (what you assume is) her heart, you’re practically married. Congratulations.

Cordelia is… not particularly skilled in the art of romance, as her own parents were never outwardly affectionate, and Cordelia herself preferred fantasy or science fiction to romance in the novels she consumed as a girl. Her love is very, very quiet, especially behind closed doors. You will often question her feelings, and it will take a very particular type of person to really feel the true depth of that love.

okay. you know what. i'm proud as hell of my lore building. in fic, i like to work as closely as possible with the source material while adding something completely fresh and different. i'm proud as fuck of my far cry 5 arc sans deputy, that i implemented this character from a prior project of mine that absolutely should not work in this setting, and i'm proud that i blended it seamlessly because of the narrative circumstances. i'm proud of bringing something new and original and exciting to source material that i love. and you know what, yeah, i'm proud of the fact that i did that effectively enough that it was Inspirational to others. why not.

semi-relatedly, the highest compliment i've been paid beyond my theoretically out of place characters feeling canon is my highly unlikeable/evil/otherwise problematic characters feeling believable and reasonable. i'm delighted people feel that way, so yes, i'm proud of that as well.

❌ what's a trope you will never write?

oh god okay. excluding the more obvious stuff that's out of my wheelhouse like a/b/o, it's basically limited to other fetish stuff that i'm not personally interested in writing or exploring in my own work. extreme power/experience imbalance, madonna/whore complex, double standards in sexual morality, jealousy-as-a-kink-not-a-character-flaw fics. toxic-misogny-and-feminine-subservience-as-a-sexy-thing. i don't have a problem with any of those things being depicted, obviously, i love me some dysfunctional toxic ass relationships, it's specifically the fetish aspect, where it's meant to be sexy and exists for no other reason than to be sexy — cheers if that's what someone's into and wants to explore in fiction, it's just not something i personally am going to write.

this isn't a trope but lord i hate authorial-interjected-morality-in-the-text where they straight up tell you who's right and who's wrong and how you're meant to feel about it. like. okay. if you feel the need to state it or you think the audience is going to feel differently the problem is probably five steps back. trust your audience let them form their own opinions. this is no longer a relevant answer i'm sorry i have feelings about this

also the murder or demonization of the canon or canon-adjacent or canon-possible love interest or attractive-character-with-tits. that one actually does bother me to read/encounter in the wild as well i will not lie to you lmao

💋 : Is your OC a good kisser? How do they do it?

Heather is a very good kisser! Her self confidence means she leads most of the time and she's really good at picking up physical cues from the other person so she can figure out what they're wanting out of a kiss.

Her favourite way to kiss someone is to crawl into their lap, run her hands through their hair and pull them close while she ghosts kisses up their neck and along their jaw before giving them a slow, passionate kiss on the lips. She enjoys taking her time and being able to make the other person an absolute mess, having them chasing after her lips with glazed over eyes is her guilty pleasure.
