February is Black History Month and the #blacksuperheroedition celebration! The 21st day in particular recognises Caribbean Superheroes. One of our contributions is BOLO from the graphic novel: HARDEARS, by @abramsbooks Megascope Books Bolo lives in the mythical Hardears universe in the Jouvert islands. A cane cutter by profession, he is blessed with unusually high levels of "vibes" (the life source of this world). Apart from being the top cane cutter a few years, Bolo lived a rather unremarkable life until his island is decimated by a super hurricane. This tragedy leads to the rise of his foe, MR. HARDIN. This conflict thrusts Bolo from local strong man to a freedom fighter. Powers: extra average strength, endurance and the ability to grow twice his size. Weapons: an agricultural bolo, hooked collins and a double sharpened cutlass.
