if i were ever inclined to believe in a god it'd be an entirely impersonal one who merely set the initial physics in motion

but that would just raise another question: where did that god come from? so i find the idea superfluous

what i find meaning in is the metaphorical meanings and themes of the Jewish holidays, e.g. liberation on Pesach, resistance on Hanukkah, surviving antisemitism on Purim, etc.
