White washing and black washing are both fucked up,there's a problem with turning a black character white but not a problem with a white character being changed to black?BOTH white washing and blackwashing are horrible and shouldn't be done,"POC need more representation" that doesn't give you a reason to change someone's characters skin color,MAKE A CHARACTER THATS A POC GODDAMNIT don't change someone else's skin color because you wanted it to be that way,same goes for whitewashing.
BOTH are disrespectful to the characters original race.
"I hc him as Brazilian" OKAY? Doesn't mean you had to make him black.
