This ever popular sloop rigged Westerly Centaur cruiser makes for a great family boat. 6ft standing room throughout. Deep cockpit and wide side decks, a sturdy powerful boat.Engine replaced with new lister Petter 20hp diesel in 2001. Is in great condition, and has never failed to start. 3 bladed propeller
In mast main sail and furling Genoa make this boat easy to handle from cockpit by one person. Bilge keels. Ideal for use in estuarys as boat can sit squarely at low tide without any problems if crew wish to disembark (for a BBQ etc.!).
–ACCOMMODATION– Forward V berth, double bunk. Heads compartment with marine sea toilet, wash basin and opening porthole. Saloon with starboard side galley. 2 burner Calor gas stove with grill. Sink with cold water supply (battery operated). Single settee converts to double bunk. Removable chart table for more space. All in excellent condition.
–EQUIPMENT– Three 12v batteries. Garmin handheld GPS. 240v shore power, long lead. Autohelm. Depth sounder. Sprayhood and dodgers. Fenders, boat hooks. Complete inventory.
At present, the boat (Marsella) is situated out of the water at Falmouth Yacht Brokers, Penryn, two miles upriver from Falmouth. It has its own deep water mooring (fully paid up til November 1st 2013) at Falmouth Harbour. It can be launched for sea trials. Please contact me for more details.
