and once again , sarah was on the fields of ionia . of course she was here for business , not thought she finds it unpleasant to be here . ionia is the land of magic , the land of beauty , a place sarah would like to call home . but enough gibberish , she need to find irelia , maybe she knew the person sarah was looking for .

she approached the house . it was pretty modest , kinda like the bounty hunter’s one . she approached the door slowly and with a quick movement she opened it . a look at irelia was enough for he to notice the other . before sarah could say anything somehow harsh worlds came from irelia .

❝ i’m sorry captain , but i need to talk to you . ❞a glance at her was enough to understand that doing something like this wasn’t pleasing for the other . of course , it was rude to enter someones house without permission , but she got no time to lose .

❝ have you heard of this person , eirene ? ❞ disgust in her tone and furrowed brows accompanied the words . a disgusting person , really . she was just another filthy criminal , unworthy scum . it’s not the first time eirene escaped , but she never got this far . of course sarah wouldn’t bother to search for so long for this trash , but the bounty was huge , she couldn’t miss this chance.

   It really pissed him off. Those guys only picked on him because he was too kind to hit back and it really pissed him off to see Simon being put down this way. 

   “ HOI! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE PICKING ON? “  He roared as he stood tall in the entrance of the ‘room’ (if you could call the cavern they had cornered his friend in a room), his voice resonating loudly thanks to the rocky walls.  “ IF IT’S A FIGHT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, THE GREAT KAMINA WILL ENTERTAIN YOU! SIMON! GET UP! WE’RE GOING TO SHOW THEM WHAT THEY GOT THEMSELVES INTO! “

   That was a sure way to get himself into trouble, but he deemed it worth if it meant keeping his brother safe.

Just like that, the silence closes itself between them, holding them with a tight grip. Stiff, almost suffocating. It is after Irelia’s initial outburst does Sona lower her head. Troubled eyes and still lips etch upon her features. She has no right to speak of loss. She, too, wished that Ionia was strong enough to push the Noxian forces back without such tremendous losses. Perhaps if they had been clever, they would also understand that not everyone will abide by their laws, especially those of Noxus. Such yields to a deeply divided nation today. What once was a nation of unity through balance and peace was shook and torn by the most obvious threat.

There could have been more. There could have been less.

Slowly does Sona find the courage to look at the blade dancer. Her chest rises and falls as she releases a deep, shaky breath. Irelia is a respected hero to most. Her bravery and refined skill are what Sona admires about her, but she is not worthy to even speak to her of these praises. Her hands lower, not planning to communicate further with sign. It is just the two of them, after all. No other in sight for her to feel a chance to be compromised. They are in the presence of shared blood of countrymen, particularly of views she is sure that they share quite equally.

‘You are right. I, too, was a child when they set foot upon these lands and shed blood. I was afraid, quite simply. I have abilities that could prove to be a great aid to the resistance but I chose not to go for I felt that I greatly lack the skills to control my powers,’ the maven’s voice echoes within Irelia’s mind. ‘I truly wish I could have done something then but I chose not to because I feared that my magic could render the Ionian forces unable to fight.’ What has occurred cannot be revoked and overturned. Grief, rage, strains of unstable nationality spread throughout the nation, deepening the cracks among the people who hold the older traditions close still. Times have changed, she understands. There must be a way to prevent future attacks and further divisions. However, Sona is also extremely aware of the delicate nature of her position in Demacia. She cannot mend the bonds of one country only to destroy the other. This just cannot be so.
