just got braces!!

hi, am Joseph (he/him), scottish, very queer and adore sitcoms and indie music. i love photography (as i'm sure you could have guessed), writing poetry and am currently dabbling in fanfic writing (however have only written two and they're both about the same person (my fabulous girlfriend))

in s5, and hoping to apply to uni next year for primary school teaching

hobbies are playing guitar and laying on the ground in the dark surrounded by stuffed animals and comfy hoodies.

favourite film is the breakfast club, tv show is the good place (for the time being), am currently watching house md, and favourite artist is probably vampire weekend (however this changes by the hour).

I know we’re not moots or anything but to answer the braces question, ice cream is your best friend because the nitinol is heat sensitive. I found it hurt for about a week and was tender to eat with. I didn’t need paracetamol but my friend did.

Also, be careful with the colours you got, they change slightly as you wear them towards a green. I think purple should be okay. I usually asked for silver so that when the green came in it was only slight discolouration. One time they said they put in grey but it was clear and by the end of the 8 weeks it was like chartreuse 😭

hmm, i did always enjoy playing tomb raider, although i haven't in years, so i'll say crash bandicoot (N Sane Trilogy)!

had an off day, in which i watched the entire pitch perfect trilogy (do not judge), spent an atrocious amount of time on tiktok and other various social media platforms, ate only almost an entire bag of popcorn, a yoghurt, and a doughnut and had a monster (the mango one if anyone cares, it is really good)

on the bright side the sky was blue, and i'm starting to get my calluses back again for guitar!

yay!
