You live in you.
Whenever you feel like giving up-- or if you think you already have...
Always remember how fun and awesome you were when you were younger. That time wasn't too long ago. Be grateful that person still lives in you.

2011 by blairsy - It’s me in 2011. What a good summer that was.
30 years ago today
My father was taken from us, from this earth, on this day.
I will have gentle thoughts today.
You heard it here first
This must be pretty much exactly what being in jail feels like. Or prison… one of those-- One of those places where you aren't free but you can predict exactly what every day is going to be like…
And you sit or lie there, imagining conversations you might have had with people who no longer care about you, no longer think about you, will never talk to you again, because their lives are better than yours…
The only way to get "back outside" is to work harder, but you first have to care, to find the will to leave this place… to find the strength to not find yourself back here, where you know you don't really belong, because yours is a place of potential greatness,
If you could just find the way to the grace.
So, I created this new blog for mainly my thoughts, while I can just focus on posting art or images at my primary blog and clean the place up.
Jomon Pot Replica (2012) by blairsy: A terracotta Jomon pot replica that I made during my senior year of college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. See link for more information.

Ceramic; Greenware male bust sculpture I made in 2000 during my senior year of high school. (I had him fired up 11 years later.) During my move, I seem to have lost him and hope I can find him, soon. The painting in the background was done earlier than that and is acrylic.
A few college paintings I made using oil and acrylics. 2008.
