To your comment - I get what you mean. It just does my head in when people make it out to be 'shagged half of hogwarts' and call her things like 'hogwarts whore' etc, I've read it a lot. I play Marlene in a RP and my version of her is that she's definitely slept about a bit, but when she's called a 'whore' and a 'slut' in the fic or RP it's that what bothers me, I reckon it's just those terms that piss me off as they're usually used in totally degrading ways if u get me
see i make her out that way, but for a reason. like she dated someone and then realized that commitment is not at all her thing, so she resorts to sleeping around, no strings attached (until sirius happens, at least).
and speaking on them being degrading, i 1000000% agree, and my marlene does too. like sometimes she'll joke and be like 'lol i'm such a slut', but if anyone calls her it or tells her that she's only good for sex, she will flip the fuck out.
