now he wasn’t the best, he was by far no artist but he had the help of his sisters when getting the nursery together. now with grace almost ready to pop -- he was finished decorating. “i know we said we weren’t going to go pink...but i added a little....” his smile was nervous, his hands a little shaky as he came to rest one against the small of her back. “she’s not gonna know what she’s looking at for like, a year or whatever but.....”

BLAKE was taken back by the look of his girlfriend as she stood cradling her growing bump and let the reality of what was happening to them sink in. they weren’t ready, by no means were they ready but none of that mattered. there was no ring on her finger, there was no previous preparation but damn it he was giving this his all. marriage would wait, it would be ready for them one day, one day when their little one could join them. it didn’t matter so long as he had her. “look at you.” the male sighed, coming to lay his hand down upon her stomach and left at least a dozen kisses on her cheeks. “how did i get so lucky?” he whispered, still breath taken by how wonderful this all was and how perfectly she was handling it.
