The Hong Kong flag, but recoloured and its petals reshaped off Bauhinia × blakeana's natural form (based on u/hufflepanda's redesign)
from /r/vexillology Top comment: While I was [collecting reimagined Hong Kong flags for a meta post](https://www.reddit.com/r/vexillology/comments/d3m1h2/after_hours_of_painstaking_work_ive_compiled_and/) months ago, I was very interested in u/hufflepanda's naturalist redesign ([explanation here](https://www.reddit.com/r/vexillology/comments/c1a6ke/a_more_autonomous_flag_of_hong_kong_amidst_the/erbu9hf/)) that I thought I could make it go further. I never got around to pulling that idea off sooner as life happened (busy work, computer broke down from overheating among other things)...yet here I am. Hope you guys be easy on me - I don't think my 'shopping skills are well enough, so I apologize if there's any slight crude detail missed (especially on the centre petal). Side note: I initially considered an alternative of light pink petals and purplish anthers on a white background, but I scrapped it as I think it would make the flower harder to stand out compared to hufflepanda's simple/pragmatic fuchsia-white palette...
