oh god that’s hard... i like cernes because you can’t translate it in one word in english, but it’s literally dark eyes, tired from sleep.

i think that sea in french is prettier than in english: mer.

french is really long to write and the verb tenses although easy for me are still more of a pain than in english. and you can’t like turn all words into funly adjectives that much and thats sad ; w ;

she’s taken aback by the   suddenness  of the question.       it’s unnerving   –   and very specific.    ‘this way’  –  meg knew she acted a way,  but …  h  aving someone feel so    uncomfortable by her demeanor that they knew something had   h a p p e n e d to her   –  knew something with her was   WRONG,   or at least not  right,            was so off-putting she dropped her cool facade for     a      second      and     in     place     showed      confusion.

what  h a d  sent her over the edge? even after her mother’s death, her sister-in -law’s death, herBROTHER’S death – she hadn’t been cold.             she hadn’t been so              closed         off.

maybe it was watching her love’s body turn to lifeless husk  in front of her eyes. maybe it was because she was   directly    responsible. maybe it was because of that responsibility that she felt so torn up. that she felt the  N E E D  to close herself off. the gates went up for a reason.
