do you think it'd ever be possible for harley to be equals (well as close to equals) with the joker? because, depending on the universe and the length of their relationship, harley is obviously held at a higher place than a regular hench woman. do you think they'd ever get to a bonnie and clyde like relationship? or do you think that this is sort of what we're getting in the dceu? (sorry for all the questions)

This is actually a really good comprehensive guide to Harley’s progression from henchwoman to basically Joker’s equal. Although, I don’t agree with a lot of OP’s points like how they say Harley is also Joker’s abuser but I still like the explanation. I think that while she is Joker’s equal in some universes, he would never admit that to anyone including himself.

!!!! omg i love fables! i recommend you read at least a little bit of the comics first before playing the game because the game is scattered with a bunch of easter eggs. you’ll appreciate it so much more :)

so i've always stayed away from n52 harley because i've heard bad things about it, like how harley, the joker, AND poison ivy are ooc. is any of this true? i've heard that ivy basically gets reduced to "the girlfriend" role for harley and that they have joker as some sexual predator. i ship both jxhq and harlivy so pairings aren't an issue for me, it's more so i want it to be in character (and you seem to have the "ultimate" knowledge when it comes to harley quinn)

Mmm I would agree with the statements you made. Basically everyone is OOC. Ivy doesn’t have much character other than being Harley’s girlfriend if you can even call her that in this universe because basically they just make them out to be fuck buddies rather than girlfriends. Joker is....ugh. I wrote a lot about him in #25 here.

I mean I don’t like it but there are a few rare good parts and it’s all that we’re getting right now so that’s what I’m reading :/
