There’s a little smile, and a raised eyebrow. 

“ Haven’t seen you in a while...what’s up, kiddo? ” She reaches a hand down and ruffles his hair, chuckling. “ You hungry? ”

Another brother like her? 

Anger tilts her head, frowning as she examined the other. He looked...strange. Different from the others--then again, so did she. 

“...I’m Anger. Which one’re you? Why d’you look like that?” Maybe she could make friends with at least one of her siblings. Hopefully he wouldn’t ignore her like the others did, too.

“ Oh. It’s you. ” He sighs and closes his notebook, tucking it into the pocket of his coat along with the pencil he’d been using.

“ Fine. You’re quite fond of pigeonholing yourself into others’ business, aren’t you? I would certainly recommend minding your own business. I have no issues with you but that is always subject to change.  ”

He isn’t surprised, of course. Many see him as a monster for his actions, his goals. He isn’t the least bit taken aback that at least one person fears him. 

But though his actions can be misconstrued as cruel...

“ You must realize, little one, ” he sighs. “ One day, when you are older and a bit wiser, you’ll understand. You’ll realize just how corrupt those things are. You’ll see how they’re made up of the worst sins that lie within humanity, and that’s all they will ever be. Our sins. ” 

He adjusts his glasses, bending down to stare the boy in the eyes. 

“ I understand they look human. I know how a child like you cannot tell the difference between a human and a creature that plays a game of pretend. For that I will forgive your hatred of me. I just ask of you   stay out of these affairs. Try to preserve your own innocence, for as long as you can. Don’t meddle in the business of beasts. ”
