Last Prayer
Single Effect: Blast Draw
MLB Effect: Blast Draw
Effect Definitions:
Blast Draw will replace that turns’ current disks with Blast disks. It’s an excellent way of setting up a Blast combo attack.
TLDR: “Last Prayer” is a good personal memoria that can help in Blast situations (or even Charge teams). Don’t use your Over-Limiters on it, but even single slot Final Tarts might find it useful here.
Review: This is a personal memoria for Tart (Final ver).
Personal Memoria with Blast Draw aren’t common. Including “Last Prayer,” there are only four in the game, the others belonging to Nanaka Tokiwa, Yuma Chitose, and Ayaka Mariko. Of these four, only two are blast gorillas-- Final Tart and Nanaka Tokiwa.
Blast Draw is extremely good because, on blast teams where you want to have blast combos on every turn, this helps you ensure you don’t get attacked by an overpopulation of charge and accele disks. Of course, Blast Draw is also very good for Charge teams-- this is because you want to finish off a charged up attack with a Blast disk. Using a Blast Draw memoria can help ensure that.
For Final Tart, “Last Prayer” can do all of this and more too. As a character with Blast MP, this card doesn’t just mean that she can maximize her damage each turn, but it can also ensure that she’s getting MP each turn (from blast disks) too.
The downsides of Blast Draw memoria are that they don’t work when using AUTO and they don’t offer any straightforward advantages. Assuming it’s a perfect world, this memoria does nothing if you have the luck of the gods and never need to worry about blask disks. Additionally, on a character like Final Tart it might be a better idea to equip her with active memoria that offer Attack Up or Damage Up.
However, unlike some active memoria, one of the benefits of “Last Prayer” is that for (un)lucky players who have Final Tart at one slot, there is still actual use for it. It’s always better to use Passive memoria, but Final Tart has well rounded stats and the benefits of having a blast combo might outweigh the passive stats in certain scenarios.
This includes quests where you have a limited amount of turns to kill many enemies or battles where you bring Final Tart along with other Blast gorillas, hoping to use her personal to get a good puella combo going. Of course, it’s far better to use this on a Tart with two (and preferably more) slots.
Overall, this is a great memoria and worth keeping. Because the only thing that changes when max awakening this memoria is the cooldown, and because that cooldown can only be lowered to a terrifyingly high 13 turns, it’s not advisable to use valuable Over-Limiters on this one. You can if you want to get more passive DEF stats, but it’s definitely not a requirement.
