hey how do you think chairs would work if people's knees bent the other way

I think they'd be like those classroom chairs with an open lower back except the back would be at like. the front middle and the bottom flat part would lean forward a bit

you'd sit in them by sliding your feet through the opening at the front one by one and then leaning forward on the tall part with your knees at the back
