If you’re referring to a supernatural force that consciously decides what is going to happen and what isn’t, then no. But I might believe Einstein’s theory (I’m almost sure it was him, if not I’m really sorry) that the timeline is naturally settled like that, which could, in a way, be called “destiny", I guess. I’m not sure if I buy this theory, though, I think I should understand more before deciding anything.
