If you're ever looking to get into Pokemon again, or just receptive to recs, Pokemon Legends: Arceus is fantastic. Legitimately my favorite modern Pokemon title. It's mostly Gen IV Pokemon with a few others for flavor, but those are generally variants, anyway, so not knowing them backwards and forwards isn't a big deal, and there are some major mechanical changes that really spice things up. I had a wonderful time with it, at least, and feel like it would suit you well, too!

Yeah it seems the logical spot to get myself back in.

Last few generations I've played to the first or second gym and stopped. I think it's partially I no longer have the brand of free time that I used to play during (lunch breaks and the bus to and from work) so it doesn't fit into my routine right? but also I just keep getting bored around that point. None of the Pokémon designs grab me, none of the characters grab me, and in everything past gen 5 but Violet I felt like i was just on a scripted ride for the first 3+ hours with no gameplay choices.

So a game that's a bit different might be what I need

I hope it's okay to ask, but I'm a little unclear on what constitutes a WIP for the purposes of MSA March. For example, I have a piece that definitely doesn't LOOK finished, but that I liked the way it ended up and have no intention to revisit-- I personally wouldn't call that a WIP, but would it still count as one for the event?

Its done when you feel you are done. I just didnt want a whole bunch of spam in the tag. I’ll probably be posting my own sketch pieces too.

Oh, well aside from the videos themselves, most official info comes from Mysterybensmysteryblog-- not just updates and stuff, but he's revealed characters and has a link for profiles, so checking his blog out is a good second step!

*whispers* we in the yume nikki fandom can relate. the original game has been stuck on version 0.10 since 2007 and we had to wait 14 years for another canon game we can all be thirsty together

(Sorry the image quality isn’t the greatest! Tablet’s not in working order and I had to make do.) Hemimorphite was a gift from Blue to Pink Diamond– made to immortalize PD’s rise to power. She’s a historian of sorts, who literally records anything she sees using her gem (her right iris) and keeps it for future review. Like the rest of Pink Diamond’s gems, she was adopted by Blue Diamond after the war and lives with the Amethysts at the Zoo. She’s constantly torn between the innate desire to learn and understand and her learned fear of coming to harm. She absolutely hates being corrected, but will amend her information if thoroughly convinced. Hemimorphite sees Holly Blue Agate as a protector and someone to trust, which makes it hard to be friends with the Amethysts. She helped learn about humans in the zoo and eventually understood what they needed to thrive in captivity; at one point, she was the little voice that guided them, but grew bored and began recycling old recordings in favor of pursuing more interesting matters.

Hemimorphite can: - Create sentient projections - Record and replay/display anything she’s witnessed - Understand and speak any language - Not summon a weapon

…okay, I’ve seen Critical Role on my dash for ages, and to hear about the one character whose name and player I’m familiar with (based on my very limited exposure) is seriously tempting me.

It is... quite the undertaking. At 47 episodes I’m only a little over halfway to catching up, and each episode is between 3 and 5 hours long. I actually started a while ago, like four or five months back, but then I stopped for a while and I just recently started again. I swear this is One Piece all over again.

Mainly I’m frustrated because I’m really into it but I can’t go into fandom tags or binge the TV Tropes page because there’s still so much that I can (and have) spoiled for myself.
