I don't know how I'm going to be a mom. I have to relearn how to do the most basic of functions and they expect me to take care of a baby? A baby that's been alive for weeks without its mother?

I can never repay Jake for this. But I can try.

My throat hurts, my body aches, and my brain feels like it's going at halfspeed.

What happened to me? Where is my baby? I..don't feel her in me.
