Honestly I will never understand why people hate Mayuri, I freaking love him. I don't think he's crazy, he's a genius. All of his fights leave you guessing, they're so unpredictable but also very entertaining.

So based on this weeks chapter I believe, out of anyone in the Soul Society, Mayuri will be the only one able to save those who have become zombies. However if there is absolutely no way to save them then Mayuri, as a captain, will have to kill Toshiro. Which is very, very sad and I hope it doesn't have to come to that. But in the last panel, I don't think Toshiro was killed, Mayuri probably tried some different experiment on him.

I also believe, for those who say Mayuri doesn't care and has no heart, that he does feel some remorse about experimenting on Toshiro, but if you think about it Toshiro is the best choice since he is a captain and can withstand more than a regular soul reaper.

In conclusion:

-Mayuri is a boss and I love him

-Poor Toshiro :(

-STILL WAITING FOR MY BABY GRIMMJOW TO COME BACK!!
