It's a location where everything comes together making it a classic Lake District scene and for good reason. It has to be one of England's finest views; catching that early sunlight hitting the Langdale Pikes, framed by the natural amphitheatre around the tarn takes some beating. When conditions are this perfect, it’s a totally compelling, totally addictive and irresistible scene to photograph. A great place to while away a few therapeutic hours.
