          the   thistle   is   notoriously   hard   to   find  ,     and   even   harder   to   pick .     the   flower’s   roots   cling   to   rocks ,     the   stems   covered   in   short  ,    dangerous   spines .     the   beauty   of   the   land   shrouded   with   a   sharp   edge .     sometimes   when   he   wanders   the   moors   and   he   comes   across   the   pink   head   of   the   plant   in   amongst   the   grasses   he   will   take   some   moments   to   appreciate   them .      𝐘𝐄𝐓   𝐓𝐎   𝐁𝐄   𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃   𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇   𝐎𝐍𝐄   𝐒𝐎   𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘   𝐈𝐒   𝐒𝐎   𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 .     it   is   quite   the   feat   to   snap   the   thickened   stem   with   naught   but   one’s   fingers  ,     and   he   would   not   be   shocked   to   discover   that   it   had   left   bloodied   marks   upon  the   other’s   hand .                HE   ACCEPTS   THE   GIFT   GRACIOUSLY  ,     his   eyes   move   between   the   plant    and   the   visage   of   a   trusted   advisor .     between   calloused   fingers   he   delicately   holds   the   flower’s   head  ,     careful   not   to   press   too   hard   upon   the   thorns .

                 >> 🔥 <<                 THE SCENT HAD BEEN STRONG,    thus he’d followed it unsure of what would end up at the end of it all.  blood   MIXED   with ferrus’ scent but  . .  not ferrus’ left him   WONDERING   all the more what he was walking into,  following his nose like a bloodhound.  it was a couple of miles but he found himself before a   SMALL SHACK   that he didn’t pause at and slowly made his way   INSIDE.  

the scent was stronger now as he   WANDERED   through the shack,  tensing up however when he found   FERRUS   maiming   . .  someone.  he wasn’t sure who but it didn’t matter  ----------  the scent of blood made sense now.  he wasn’t sure how to feel but the feel of   BITTERNESS    echoed in his stomach  ;  ferrus stated he was  GOING OUT   for a few things   hours   ago.  he didn’t state he was going to do   THIS    (   but why would he  ??  ).

              ❝       SEEMS LIKE    y’had more on yer plate t’night than y’let on   . .      ❞             he utters,  tone sounding   DISAPPOINTED    as arms crossed.

               >> ⚔️ <<                HE DOESN’T APPROVE     of necromancy but a witcher contract was a witcher contract.  pay him enough and he’ll   TAKE IT   as long as he’s not cheated out of   COIN.  he comes to the meeting place spoken of in the flier,  dismounting off roach and taking her reigns in his hands  ;  leading her over.   nothing seemed   AMISS.   yet at least.
