Moontime Musings

So its that time again, when the body flows and everything inside of me releases. This morning, I knew that my moontime was coming because of a little womb cramping. As I was laying in bed, I spoke to my womb, telling her that it was okay to release, that my blood flow was welcomed and cherished. I woke up, took a nice relaxing shower, put on some flowing clothes and made a cup of tea.

I went into the bedroom, pulling out a stash of my homemade cloth pads. I am always happy to see them. Caring for myself by pampering my glorious yoni by using cloth pads instead of disposables makes my entire moontime experience shift. Everything within me melts in softness and surrender.

Now, I will light candles, sing, and praise the magic of my womb, my goddess spirit and of myself. My blood is holy. My womb is sacred. My body is magic.

And so it is.
