Through the endless night she flies, guided only by the whisper of the wind and the song of the moon... 𖣴
31 Days of Horror Marathon 2023 ↪ Day 19: Motel Hell (1980) dir. Kevin Connor
The Walpurgi’s Night is well known for the famous for the mythological flying and meeting of the witches and spirits, and Floralia is an Ancient Roman's festivity dedicated to the Goddess of Spring, Nature and Fertility Flora, that are celebrated between the 30th April and the 3rd May.
The Walpurgi’s Night and Floralia are very inspiring because they reminds me the duality of the Spring Season: the cozy one with the Flowers and the beauties of the Nature and the dark one that is very suble and invisible, but also very present in the folk stories and myths.
For these reason, I wanted to share with you this Book Suggestions that reminds me the Walpurgi’s Night and Floralia, with the Floral themes and the elements of Witchcraft, mysterious powers and rebirth, just like the Spring Season.
It will be included an old book suggestion from my previous account.
If you want to know more about it or share a books that reminds you the Walpurgi’s Night and/or Floralia, or thought about the video,

What is Do Easy
William S. Burroughs' (aka Uncle Bill)"Do Easy" philosophy is a concept centered around approaching tasks and existing every day in a way that promotes a relaxed, deliberate mindset. It emphasizes efficiency and effectiveness through mindful action.
The core principle of "Do Easy" is to perform any activity in the most relaxed and effortless way possible. This doesn't equate to laziness, but rather a conscious effort to avoid unnecessary exertion or force. By minimizing wasted energy and streamlining movements, Burroughs suggests that one can achieve more with less effort. By focusing on deliberate, controlled and fluid movements and avoiding jerky motions, one can find the most efficient way to complete the task. This focus on mindful action can then be extended to all aspects of life.
Do Easy also emphasizes the importance of awareness. By being present in the moment and considering the weight, shape, and function of objects, one can determine the precise movements necessary to handle them effectively. This heightened awareness allows for smoother and more efficient actions in all areas of your life.
Ultimately, Do Easy is a Zen like philosophy, a blueprint for a deliberate, present, aware, and less mentally/existentially stressful way to live on the day-to-day.
:::Start small: Begin with manageable tasks like cleaning or organizing. Focus on deliberate movements and avoid unnecessary exertion.
:::Mind your movements: Be mindful of your body's movements as you complete tasks. Streamline your actions and avoid jerky motions. Moving with fluidly is the goal.
:::Be present: Pay attention to the present moment. Consider the object you're handling and its purpose.
:::Focus on relaxation: Avoid tensing up or expending unnecessary energy. A relaxed state allows for smoother and more effective actions. Controlled calm becomes your default state of mind, which allows us to more clearly see what’s happening around us at all times and plan accordingly.
:::Gradual application: As you master "Do Easy" with smaller tasks, gradually extend the philosophy to other aspects of your life such as:
:::Productivity: By minimizing wasted energy and focusing on streamlined movements, you can accomplish more in less time.
:::Stress reduction: The relaxed and deliberate mindset of "Do Easy" helps you avoid tensing up or feeling overwhelmed by tasks, leading to lower stress levels.
:::Focus and awareness: The emphasis on being present in the moment and considering the object at hand improves focus and awareness, allowing for better decision-making.
:::Physical well-being: By avoiding unnecessary strain and jerky motions, Do Easy can help prevent injuries and promote better posture and body mechanics.
:::Overall well-being: The combination of these benefits will lead to a more relaxed, efficient, and fulfilling day-to-day existence.
In short: it’s highly beneficial lol
