Beni knew she'd never be her sister. She'd never met her sister, either. But every time one of her sister's classmates looked at her, she felt as though they expected her to somehow be exactly the same as Kanata.

Needless to say, she was used to it. She knew that, to the boss and Miss Mekaru and Mister Otori, she was just Kanata Jr. She... wasn't sure what Miss Tomori thought, nor what Miss Hatano thought.

There was only one person she truly felt didn't expect her to be a replacement. Akira loved her for her. no matter if she was grumpy some days or too tired to respond the next, Akira adored her.

Maybe that's why it scared Beni when Akira decided to accompany the combat team on one of their trips out of curiousity. maybe that's why it hurt so bad when Akira returned in a body bag.
