Yeah I added that only recently when I realized people think they’re “not supposed” to leave a comment on an article if it’s “old,” but I always thought it was permanently all as relevant as the day it went up and get excited to read new comments no matter what!

3 things to say about the "so much has been written" thing. There's a lot that's written but all of it is on it's own particular topic, thinking of it as My Writing vs All Of Human History isn't right. Saying something again (especially rarely visited topics) or phrasing it in a different way isn't a bad thing or useless. And finally as the world continues to change there becomes more to write about that is presently relevant and affecting.
