His hands fidgeted with each other as he tried to figure out how to explain things. He didn’t need to tell everything. Just this one small ability of his. It’d be useful to them surely. “There’s this thing I can do... I-I can... Tame monsters...” he went on, trying to look at the adviser now, “They like turn to a crystal figurine until I need them... I kn-know it’s like... Weird and all. ‘How can someone who isn’t of the Lucis or Flueret royal lines do something supernatural?’ Uh...” He didn’t really want to answer that question yet. “But I swear it’s all good! I think... I’ve... Never actually done it before? I know how though...” Again, the possible question that could pop up from that admittance was an answer he was hesitant to provide.

Well, of course, it was a bad idea to take his shirt of in the same room as the most perceptive person in the group. It was honestly annoying having to hide two separate brands on his body, but at least, the shield saw the one with less terrible implications behind it. That was the only silver lining in this. Quickly, he slipped his shirt back on, turning his back away from Gladiolus and not having the balls to look him in the eyes. “It’s nothing. Just a tattoo is all.” the gunner lied and shrugged, “I wouldn’t have thought it was a big deal considering half of your skin is basically a big tattoo.” He tried to smile casually.

Prompto opened his eyes to the same ancient cathedral he’s come to known over the past three years of these dream visits. Well, it didn’t look ancient, but that was probably because this was a dream, not real life. If he had to guess, the place might have been rubble if he actually came here, wherever it was anyway.

His eyes focused on the Goddess before him and he smiled at her. “Tomorrow is the day I’m going to get my ass to say hi to him.” the blond announced proudly to her as he stood tall and confident, “I finally feel ready to do it.”

“I won’t let you touch her!” Prompto roared as he suddenly rammed his body into the chancellor, putting himself in between him and the Tenebrean princess.

Ever since he saw that aura around Lunafreya, he felt the need to act. Not act as an escort for evacuating Altissians, but act as a protector for her. Noctis had to receive Levianthan’s blessing and Gladio and Iggy wouldn’t believe him if he tried explaining they needed to protect the Oracle. He was the only one who could do this. He had to do this. This is one death he needed to stop. Lunafreya had done so much for him indirectly; it’d be a betrayal if he sat idly by and let her die.

Honestly though, the blond wasn’t surprise Ardyn was here and seemed to be playing a role in this. He was everywhere and it was more annoying than creepy at this point. The Niff wouldn’t get his way this time. The gunslinger would be sure of it.
