🔮13 Days of Samhain🔮 Blessed Salt Does salt needed to be blessed? Probably not. This is my choice. Salt does have amazing cleansing properties. It can be added to magickal powders and different waters (full moon, storm, etc) I will be choosing to bless the salt that will be on my altar and that will be used in workings. I will be going out, hold it out to each of the directions, and ask each element to bless it. Finally, I will hold it up and ask Spirit for the same. Any salt can be used in spell work, even iodized salt if that is all you can get. Note: no, I haven’t done this yet.
