This ever happen to you? Ever wonder why this happens sometimes? It comes down to proper humidity. You have three basic parts of a cigar. The filler (which is made up of different types of tobaccos) The binder which “binds” the fillers together The wrapper which is thin delicate and beautiful. Due to the hydroscopic nature of tobacco all the various leaves absorb the water at different rates. Once you apply heat if one part of the tobacco leaf has more water in it than others it tends to expand splitting the wrapper which is thinner and more delicate. This is why having properly humidified cigars is so important. I personally let my cigars “rest” in my humidor for at least 7-10 days after I purchase them. This gives the humidity within the cigar to balance out. #purotrader #themoreyouknow #droppinknowledge #blewup https://www.instagram.com/p/Bv9iJmljVD3/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=197t90h6vabt6
