Day 78.  I’m racking up the ski days this year!  130k feet over my 7 days of skiing.  Now don’t go calculating out my average feet per day, as can be seen with my choice of lift rides, a couple of my days were “Liam ski days”.  Which means I don’t exactly rack up the feet on those days.

Today I skied with Sean, Eleanor’s Dad.  Ha.  Yes, as part of family life, it seems us Dad’s frequently get referred to as the Dad of our kids.

Okay, let’s break down the photos and t-shirt of the day.

Top photo is another shot taken by the mountain photographer.  It was a ridiculously sunny day and later in the afternoon I completely lost the jacket, as it was spring skiing weather, perfect for highlighting a cool t-shirt.

The shirt?  This would be “ooh, people! ... anyone wanna play?” by RedBubble artist @blimation.  I was browsing around RB last year looking for a design I liked so I could pick up a tee to test them out.   Of course I ended up going with a monster.  This guy looked a bit like a character you’d see in a Yipe game, so that sealed the deal on my choice.

Next is the group shot of our two families hanging out here in Tahoe.  And then you have me enjoying a toast of champagne on the East Ridge of Northstar.  Apparently everyday at 2pm they do a free champagne toast.  Since I was skiing with a buddy who had never skied at Northstar before, we tried to cover as much of the mountain as possible and we ended up on the ridge right around 2 and decided to join the festivities.  Which included snow friendly bean bag chairs, blankets and if you wanted more than just the 1 free glass, you could grab more champagne for only $19 a glass.  We opted to pass on that.
