A glimpse of what could have been... 🎓✨ Although this photo is often mistaken for a young
Axl Rose, it’s actually the late, great Shannon Hoon from Blind Melon. It’s a beautiful reminder of that Indiana brotherhood and the raw, talented souls that changed rock forever. Even if it’s not Axl, the vibe is pure nostalgia. Two legends, one shared history.
P.S.: Guys, I just found out their story is way deeper (and sadder) than I ever imagined. They were both from Indiana, but only became friends in L.A. when Shannon called Axl after his sister gave him the contact. Axl took him under his wing like a little brother and they were inseparable, but unfortunately, Shannon left us way too soon in 1995. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to watch the 'Don't Cry' video now knowing all of this.
