everything about the interaction is strange, from the money that the doctor dropped into kureno’s reflexively outstretched palm and the accompanying order. it was clear that hatori was trying to do something nice for him, but it still seemed so uncalled for. however, as someone who was routinely denied contact with anyone other than the head of the family or the various servants that flitted in or out, he wasn’t going to reject hatori’s efforts at .... well, whatever this was.
kureno doesn’t need the money, or know exactly what a star war was, fankly he wasn’t at all interested in something related to war but if hatori wanted him to go see one. ‘ ..........ok. thanks. ‘
