       ☽ ▪ ▫ ┇“a - ah…sorry i’m not the best at this. it’s been a while since i’ve actually ice skated.” she explained to him. how embarrassing. hinata use to be very good at things like this, but time must have caught up with her since she seemed to have a little bit of trouble. why was her balance so off today? the hyuga’s always had good balance and made sure to maintain it. yet, here she was having issues with something as simple as ice skating. “i’m actually a little surprised you know how to ice skate.” she let out a soft laugh. seeing an uchiha skate was kind of funny really. she had always assumed uchiha’s didn’t do things like this. seeing obito do this made her imagine how funny it’d be to see sasuke doing such a thing. then again, there were many people she never would have expected to see on the ice. though, who was she to judge. while lost in thought she wasn’t paying attention before she slipped and fell onto her butt. “Oof!” she winced a little bit before looking back to him and laughing a little, but feeling rather embarrassed, a small shade of pink hinting on her cheeks. “i - i guess i’m rather off today.”

Headcanons | Accepting

I actually had a little bit of an alternate timeline idea- soooooooooo-

In a different timeline where Obito was shunned from the Uchiha Clan for his defect, he was pretty young- about 6. Kushina is 16 and is around the time she recently lost both of her parents. Instead of tucking away the house for safe keeps for later use in the future, when Obito comes into the picture, she keeps the property. It was already mostly paid off. What little is left is what Kushina puts her money towards to keep the home- While also dealing with a blind six year old. It was mainly to help her cope with the loss of her parents, which worked, but also made her miss her little brother. 

Kushina is an older sister figure to Obito, who habitually ends up calling her “’shina-nee”. She constantly pushes his boundaries with fighting to be able to defend himself out in battle. He even knows the hand-formations from constant reminder and knows a few powerhouse fuinjutsu. She is a worrier after Obito joins Minato’s team- although confident nothing will harm him. Kushina made Minato put a seal on Obito way before canon timeline. 

After Kushina and Minato marry, they end up moving house, though the Konoha Uzumaki household is still under her name. Obito has fallen down both the stairs inside and outside the house too many times to count.
