Morton Street
Here are two views of Morton Street in Bloomington, Indiana. The first is taken on Halloween 1976, and the second in September of 2021, just under forty-five years apart.
The old hotel in the middle/top of the image, and perhaps the brick building visible below it is about the only things in both. The Monroe County courthouse would be visible—if I can do this again during the winter months (which would help the effect greatly).
Oh, the train is a southbound Amtrak Floridian and the line is the Louisville & Nashville, former Monon. The line now is a bike path and walking trail. Two images by Richard Koenig; taken 1976 and 2021.
