Hazbin and helluva are good when you watch the episodes as they come out and you can focus harder on the individual scenes and character interactions and think about characters and potential plotlines inbetween releases, but if you binge them it becomes clear how absolute ass and devoid of meaningful development they are and how so much shit makes no sense. The less you see of a character the better, frankly. Rip to voxes and alastors when that relationship gets "fleshed out" next season

The closer someone is the more they can hurt you. People further away can hurt you and it's bad and it sucks but you know that they hurt you. Someone who's close can hurt you and you won't even know it hurts and you'll go oh it's not so bad oh they're just scared oh I don't really mind but you do mind and that's why you have to make excuses for them and that's why you'll be repairing the damage they did for so much longer and that's why you should never get close to people
as a system we're usually very tolerant of hcs and different interpretations of character dynamics but we've projected way way way too much of ourselves into these godforsaken shows to accept

the fandom is literally corruption kinking Alastor. There's like a weird hc telephone and over time he gets more and more skinfur and weird scars everywhere and fucked up hooves and I recently even saw six nipples and none of that except the (moderately) fucked up hooves is in canon but he just keeps getting worse
