I think the way that Ivy Lynn changes the way she presents herself through her state of delusion is a really important and interesting detail. It's important not just because it's a part of her character and story, but also because it is a good representation of delusion -- especially those who fall under the title of IRLs.

The way she presents herself in one of the opening scenes where her and Karen are going to the auditions, she gets ready as herself and not as the character she's reaching for. She knows who she is and that she does have talent. She's also auditioned for things before so she knows what to do.

After her audition goes well and she gets a callback, she turns into her role because that's what she was asked. She becomes Marilyn not because she feels a connection to her or that she is her, but because it's what possibly getting the role called for. She somewhat landed the role and that just pushed it further.

She did tons of research on Marilyn and learned how to talk like her, how to speak like her, how to dress and style her hair like her, and every little fact and detail about her. Eventually she starts to regularly fall under the influence and she even walks around the city moping and complaining while drunk. She ruined one of her other theater performances by going on stage drunk and unable to properly move and control herself. She knows how Marilyn died and I think that this attempt of ruining her life was part of her growing delusion to Marilyn.

Multiple times before and after other performances she's been mimicking and impersonating Marilyn with her voice. Some other girls in her dressing room found it a little creepy how close she sounded to Marilyn. Not to mention Derek somewhat supporting the delusion by telling Ivy she was made to be Marilyn, how she was doing a good job at sounding like Marilyn, how she was the perfect girl to be Marilyn.

Does the delusion eventually fall out? Yes. But it was still part of her life and her character and it's a detail that should be mentioned and talked about more often than it is.

Okay so in Just Look My Way (the song Stolas sings that isn't in an episode but instead its own stand-alone episode/MV) I think the idea of Stolas and Blitz being constellations is really cool (and here's why:)!

Constellations (specifically the stars that make them) can move and shift, but it takes thousands of years -- proper motion to be exact. So, what is proper motion? Proper motion is the idea/theory that stars travel through space over many many many thousands of years. Blitzo and Stolas are hellborn sinners that can and will live for thousands and thousands of years (most likely). They'll move and change and eventually the stars that make their constellations now will slowly die and soon be replaced by new stars that change their look. In this case, their look isn't necessarily literal; it could be (and most likely will be) their personalities shifting and changing as they grow.

Stolas' rush for Blitzo to "just look his way" shows he knows that things are changing. He knows things will soon draw to an end and that the stars that combine to make Blitzo are going through proper motion.

Um, I had more to say, but honestly I forgot a lot of my stars/astrology knowledge and this was mostly as excuse for me to talk about proper motion. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
