Silly Chameleon
It was nearing curfew in blue lock, the day before a really big game that would determine their futures as strikers, hell, as players even. More importantly though, for a certain purple haired billionaire, it was the night before Reo would have to face Nagi again after he was essentially kicked to the curb by the gamer. It's been a long time since the two last saw each other and Reo was...nervous to say the least. He sat in the dark staring at himself in the mirror with as little vision as he had, practicing what he was going to say to him. He could go the kind route and act like his buddy again, he could be mean about it and petty, he could act moved on and make him jealous, there was too many choices and it was messing with his mind.
"Dammit...I just don't know what to do..."
There was a pause, then a flicker, and the lights came on.
"Maybe, turn on the lights"
"What the–"
Reo snapped out of his thoughts, a little embarrassed.
"Hey man!" Reo looked back at Chigiri who was leaning against the bathroom door frame.
"Let me guess you copied others so much you're beginning to get split personalities?" The pinkette joked, smirking at him.
Reo huffed "Who me? No!" He bit his lip and continued "I was just...practicing, for what I can say to Nagi next, just trying to find the right words"
Chigiri blinked "Wait? You seriously haven't spoken to him yet?"
Reo laughed a little, nervously "Nope...but I've been working on it! As soon as this chameleon remembers his original color" he stuck his tongue out. A habit Chigiri picked up on fast from him. It was Reo's thing and honestly it suited him.
"Cool"
Reo snapped for whatever reason "Hey! You can at least try to show some interest!"
Chigiri kept up the same nonchalant tone of voice "its you, so it'll probably turn out okay in the end. My advice to you is to say whatever you feel, here in blue lock you never know when you'll see someone again"
The words hit deep for Reo and he nodded. "You're right..." he turned right back to the mirror practicing again. It was like nothing changed, Chigiri was back to watching Reo do the same 3 greetings on repeat. Saving anger for last.
"Do you just think of me as someone from the past...ughhh! WHAT THE HELL MAN, I AM YOUR PRESENT, YOU BETTER BE WATCHING CLOSELY HASSLE MONSTER!"
Chigiri sighed, it was way too late for this.
"If anyone here's a hassle, its you"
Reo stopped and turned to him again briefly "I am not a hassle! Its Nagi! You don't know how many times I've had to–" he continued his rant while looking back towards the mirror getting angry again.
"And then he would–" it was so fast Reo didn't even have time to process what was happening. Chigiri was known for his speed and from the bathroom door to Reo it was nothing, he could've he walked that distance, but he wanted this reaction, to catch him off gaurd, Chigiri was showing off a little too.
To Reo, one moment he was speaking from the heart in anger, the next he's on the bathroom floor, cold tile on his back, unable to hold back the giggles escaping his throat. Chigiri's swift fingers moved up and down the purpled ones sides.
"Whahat?!" He continued to giggle and move from side to side, his brain slowly catching up to what his body was feeling "Chigiri!"
Chigiri smirked down at him sitting criss-cross and pretty, continuing to move his wiggling fingers up and down the other's sides and up and down his ribs acting like he was doing nothing.
"Whats up Reo?"
Reo growled through his giggles which got more frantic and heavy the more Chigiri explored new spots "YoHohou know whahat you're doing!!" He tried to sound mad but it wasn't working "Quihihit it!" He smiled and giggled like a kid again after that.
Chigiri tilted his head slightly "Are you sure this chameleon thing isn't getting to you Reo? That was a quick switch up, maybe it was all that practicing you did in the mirror?"
Reo shook his head no pushing himself up further, accidentally moving closer to Chigiri as he pinched a particularly sensitive nerve on his rib bone.
The speedy one noticed this and pulled Reo even closer himself too by the back of his shirt, still tickling him with his free hand. Reo didn't fight it.
'Interesting...' Chigiri thought to himself
"EAh–HAhaha! I'm fIHihine!" Reo's smile hadn't been that defined in a while, but it still wasn't big enough for Chigiri.
"Mhm sureee" Chigiri continued "What's your original color then?" The mans perfectly manicured nails moved up to Reo's neck as the other scrunched up, face starting to flush.
"PUhuHurple! DUHuhuh!" He answered honestly
"You sure? I thought it was red" Chigiri smirked swiping another finger quickly down the exposed side of his neck while the other side was still being tickled. Reo laughed louder.
"Ah–! HAha! CohOhohome OhoHon nOhot! FaHaHaHAHair!"
"You have a nice laugh" he commented on it literally and that did not help Reo's current situation.
"Chihihigiri!!"
"What? It's a compliment! Can you not take a compliment?" He asked genuinely before getting an idea.
"You're adorable" he moved down to squeeze at the mans knee.
"DOhon't!"
"You're good at soccer" another squeeze
"CHIhihihgiri-EEE! COME ON!!" Reo huffed, face getting more red
"You're gonna do great and everything is gonna be okay" He meant it too, Reo knew that, he appreciated it, but he was too busy laughing.
Two squeezes.
"OKahaHAHAY!"
Chigiri gave him a quick break while looking for a new spot to tickle. His fingers still lightly tapping at Reo's knees as he caught his breath.
"That was so evil! I didn't think you had that in you Chigiri!" He smiled
"Oh we're not done yet"
"...Huh...?"
Chigiri smirked again and used all ten digits on the man's exposed stomach.
"WAHAHAIT! NOHOHOT THEHEHRE!"
Chigiri's smirk only grew "found it"
"CHIHIGIRIHIHI!"
"Man I should've done this ages ago! Would've saved me a lot of headaches" he teased continuing his attack on Reo's stomach.
It had only gone on for a little while but Reo forgot how sensitive he was there, its been a while since anyone had tickled him, and was reaching his limit quickly.
"HAHAHA I CAHAHAHAN'T"
Chigiri smiled "Oh yeah? I believe in you, you got it"
"IHIHIT TIHIHICKLES! TOO MUHUHUCH!"
Chigiri exhaled "Alright, I'll finish this up quickly then" he moved so fast again Reo couldn't prepare himself. Chigiri took a deep breath and was blowing a raspberry directly in the middle of his stomach.
Reo's legs kicked "NAHAHAHA!" he couldn't stop laughing, even after Chigiri was done, it took him a few minutes to compose himself. Wiping a tear from his eye Reo giggled and sat up.
"Now go to bed, silly chameleon, its way past curfew now and im tired" Chigiri turned and started walking out as Reo got up fully.
"Goodnight" The pinkette was gone
"Goodnight Chigiri!" Reo hadn't stopped being giddy after that. He slept like a baby that night, he would be refreshed and ready for the next morning, for the meeting with Nagi. He needed that. He'll thank Chigiri when the sun rises again.
