Had an amazing set visit with Ashleigh and her family as part of Make a Wish!

Block 8: Day 1 and 2 (22/11/2022 and 23/11/2022). Wow what a big week its been! I am so proud of my three horses and some of the really tough scenes they pulled off while filming for Heartland this week. The most challenging is running to marks and A to B's in the wide open fields with other horses around and lots to distract and tempt them! Ace and Stetson were great as always ( although Ace wanted to roll all his sorrel paint off and its quite a process to go from white to sorrell!) Rio did his first two jobs as well and He was so good!! He is definitely not solid yet and we have lots to work on but I just love him and his patience and try so much. For me it always comes back to the horses, all the planning and worrying, the cold windy days, the tire blowouts ( again) the getting up in the middle of the nights to be on set on time with a painted horse 🤣 and the pressure- well it all goes away when these horses show up for me and try. We did some pretty neat and some pretty challenging stuff and they always amaze me. Now to get ready for the big season finale next week!!! I am just so grateful for the heart of these horses and I am sure my horses inspired the name of our event! Its hard to put into words what the heart of the horse means but if you have experienced it you know❤️ Photos by: Heart of the Horse
