And that’s a wrap on Seaaon 18 of Heartland. Full heart and so much gratitude and love for this incredible cast, crew and family. Beautiful memories of Alberta summers. Sorting through pics but here is a peek! Photos by: Michelle Nolden
As we wrap up Heartland’s Season 18 for the year, I think back to the incredible time we have all had together. I would say this year especially, was extra fun.
The group pictured here have all been a part of Heartland for 18 years! (There are others too, but just happened we were all standing together) I love and admire you all so much.
The friendships we’ve made and the memories we’ve shared make this so much more than a job. I hope you enjoy this new season airing in Canada in a month. I am already ready to dive in to more stories, so let’s all throw our positive vibes out for a spring renewal! ❤️🐴 Photo by: Amber Marshall

Minnesota-based wish kid Evelyn saddled up and travelled all the way to Calgary to visit nearby High River, the set of her favourite TV show, Heartland!🐎
This starstruck 17-year-old, who was diagnosed with a heart condition, got the chance to rein in her excitement as she watched filming, met the cast and crew, and took in all the behind-the-scenes action of the ranching drama with her family.
The unique wish come true was made possible through Make-A-Wish Minnesota and our hardworking team in Alberta. Evelyn, we hope your experience was unforgettable! 💙
Just to give you an idea of what blocking (kinda like rehearsal) looks like on a tv show. There are tons of people who have to figure out how to do their jobs, how we will film the scene, and what the scene requires. The different departments in this shot include Directors, Camera, lighting and Electrics, sound, grips, props, hair, first aid, makeup, talent (actors), stand ins, set decorators, wranglers, stunts, costumes, locations, craft services (food), transport drivers, script supervisor (Wayne!) and producers. A lot of people go into every single shot of our show! Video by: Michelle Morgan
