Month 2 with the new baby!
I am so happy I have such a beautiful little girl.
I am a little concerned though her urine was extremely dark when I changed her Diaper and her skin was a pale yellowish color.
I will have take her to the doctor’s office tomorrow to make sure my little angel is okay.

Went to the Doctor’s office today they ran some tests on her.
This alarmed me when they checked her eyes out and noticed the whites of her eyes were yellow!
They said she has “Jaundice” I hope she will be okay.. I don’t know much about the disease.
I will go back to the doctor’s office tomorrow to make sure it isn’t too serious.
I went to the doctor’s office to have a discussion to see if there is any info I could get about Jaundice.
Apparently 60% of infants get Jaundice.

Since seeing the doctor I have been super careful with Haillie.
She is now 2 and a half months!
Also Jaundice affects the liver, Gallbladder, and the Pancreas.
The yellowing of eye whites is the most common symptom for Jaundice.
Generally the best way to treat Jaundice is to correct the underlying cause
(Transmission, Treatment, People At Risk, Bonus)
Outcome depends on the cause. As the underlying condition improves, the jaundice will usually disappear
Jaundice is not a disease but rather a sign of another underline problem
