非中央集権とコミュニティについて

面白いblockchain関連の記事を見つけた。

「ハッシュタグ企画：#Dappsコミュニティを考える」

Dappsとは、Decentralized Applicationsの略語で、非中央集権の分散型アプリケーションのことを指すそう。もちろんBitCoinもDappsのアプリケーション。

私が初めて BlockChainに触れたのは、このくらいの頃。

この時期に機会があって、エストニアにも行って、その地域性やコミュニティの存在に触れることができたが、タリンのコミュニティは、一人一人が存在感を持って、その地域にコミットしていたような印象だった。もちろん人口が少ないことや、世界遺産や自然に囲まれた環境であったことももちろんあるけれど。

あれから、3年程の時を経て、再びBlockChainと出会うことになる。

現在、WIRED.jpで「BlockChain」で検索をかけるとこんな結果になる。

もちろんいろんな観点からの記事が見受けられるのだけれど、私の個人的な意見からすると、やはり仮想通貨の範疇で語られていることが多いような気がする。私が2016年、果敢にも思い描いていた世界は、通貨(金融)以外の領域でのBlockChainの価値、つまり、非中央集権で価値の基準が流動的に決定されるプラットフォームの実現だった。農作物とか、いろんなことを考えてみたけれど、それでもやっぱり、インセンティブ設計という大きなハードルを越えられるのは、仮想通貨以外はあり得ないなと実感させられた。

ところが、最近こんなおもしろいBlockChainの活用方法に出会った。

何がすごいかって、マイニングをギャラリーまで来場する労力（なかなか最寄り駅から距離がある）とし、ブロックをアートに対する個人の主張・意見とし、インセンティブを一番長いチェーンのマイナーに送られるそのチェーンの意見が全て記載されてTシャツにした点。これは、アートに好奇心のある人にしかこの気持ちは理解できないかもしれないが、自分の主張・意見をブロックに書き込むという意識づけは結構強いものなのではないかと私は考える。これは他の人の意見に賛成したり反対したりという関わりはもちろんのこと、運営している側もその意見の発展に対して、同じ立場として傍観できる点が非常に興味深い。ブロックに書き込む参加者と運営する側の関わりが生まれる点でとても面白いコミュニティが形成される可能性があると、素直にワクワクした。

そういった流れから、一番上であげたこちらの記事。

まさに、こういうことだろうなと。

現時点でもなかなか面白いコメントが散見されます。#Dappsコミュニティを考える

BlockChainとか地域のコミュニティとかそういう垣根ではなく、どんな場所、どんなツールだろうと、コミュニティを考えるという根本的な議論になっている。テクノロジーは新しい価値観を提供はしてくれると思うけれど、そういったプラットフォームやツールが生まれたとしても、結局浮き彫りにされることは、人間とは何か、人間同士が関わる社会とは何か、私たち自身の生活であったり生き方を見直すための課題なんだと思う。テクノロジーと向き合うことは、私にとってはそういう新しい価値観を考える哲学的ツールでしかない。ビジネスに活かせるとか、生活を便利にするとか、そういう目的には、興味ない。

だって、大好きなあの子や、可愛いあの子が作ったレモネードを買う方が、誰かのために美味しいレモネードを作ってあげた方が、よっぽどお金儲けしたって思えるって。
