A very fascinating crossover idea is just, Nope (2022) and the Jurassic Park franchise.

Not because “oh lets make some weird hybrid dinos with the jean jacket” or whatever, but like

Imagine that dinosaurs are now the hit thing / the big example of hubris and playing god but then stories come out that “oh yeah they discovered a whole new fundamental type of animal and we found out because one just straight up ate 40 people at a park experience”.

There’s a fascinating potential synergy there. Both Nope as well as the jurassic park franchise are about different things but also they make great foils unto each other

Hello! My last post was something like a year ago.  For those of you still following this blog: I will begin updating and putting up content again pretty much immediately.  Here’s why.

At the end of my Junior year of college, I applied for the Knott 2019 Fiction Writing Fellowship.  I pitched a story titled Listener, which I am writing right now.  It is a fantasy story, predominantly text-based with some illustration, set in a world that a friend’s little brother described as “pretty messed up. I want it on my summer reading list.”  Honestly, I don’t think I can ever achieve higher praise than this, but it’s good to shoot for the moon.

I will be releasing content and chapters on the blog, @listenerseries soon!  If you’re interested at all, please follow that blog.  there isn’t anything on it presently, but I’m working on that now.

I have been releasing content, however, on my instagram, @ mistwolfkid.  Check there for scrap drawings, finished inked pieces, and other stories.  I’ll also begin posting them here, since this blog is in dire need of activity.
