This progress update features a small clip of a glitch that happened when I picked up Charles that I had to share... (I didn’t notice it go up but saw it go down.)

So … I realized way too late that… I need certain POI entries for John that I already had for Arthur and didn’t realize… so I’m gonna have to play the game again (which I already planned on doing) or look at my other saves to see if one has Arthur not having the ones I need yet before I can complete the POI posts. I can still get some done cause I didn’t do them all. (I really wanted to get those all in the queue then set the post to 5 a day. So that’ll be taking a lot longer than I wanted.)

Damn it if only that mail guy hadn’t said the name out loud. Like John said it QUIETLY obviously he didn’t want it known…

Oh man.. Just hearing flash back Arthur’s voice made me tear up… this is not good…well turns out just seeing his hat does it too… oh boy

Damn it… I have access to Blackwater now… I can take photos… NOPE I need to finish what I already have! DX

Anyway, I went to Saint Denis with Uncle and I also realized I should make a page for 1907 stuff. Cause there’s a lot of things that changed or got build/finished.

So we got the bounty… Sadie got knocked off her horse.. So she ran the entire way and was magically back on the horse in the cut scene XD she was also just randomly shooting when there was no one there..

How does Mr Wayne’s beard look SO fake…

Wayne buddy no.. never mention you have a wife and kids, close to retirement, just got married, or anything remotely happy when you’re in a video game, movie, or tv show where people die…

John almost got MACHETED but someone killed the skinner brother just as he was swinging and I LIVED… okay but then two seconds later they got Charles… damn it now I’m giving HIM nightmares.

Started the house building mission and this lil smile Charles has as John gives him a look as Uncle gets out of doing work... my heart..

Blog Progress Update (Travel Blog Style 😎#13)

At Jack’s party 50 million things happen all at once I can't get everything X.x Susan and Karen are singing loudly, Hosea's saying something at the campfire, John and Abigail and talking about the three of them staying in the same room, now Micah's saying some story and Uncle has joined Karen and Susan in a song with Javier playing and NOW Molly is yelling at Dutch. 

It's too much!

Dutch just gave an ANGRY speech about faith and it got dark and thundery REAL QUICK. Like I get it game… the foreshadowing weather isn’t needed.

Mary-Beth is trying to get Karen to bed and Karen is throwing up. Mary-Beth gave up and Karen passed out on one of the bedrolls under Bill/Charle’s area. Never saw that before..

Kieran just came up to me staying how he'd be dead if he hadn't joined them and- I GET IT THUNDER AND LIGHTNING! BAD TIMES AHEAD!

Bill… Bill just decked Pearson... WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

Here comes the rain..   Neat detail that when it rains people go inside the house. (like I know some sleep there now but Strauss still sleeps outside and he came in. Kieran was sleeping outside then came into the piano room to sleep too)

Saved Tilly. I love how this mission shows Grimshaw does care.

Ugh Strauss dude stop.. O-O this is the first mission where Arthur's started coughing like THAT and it HURTS

I can't find Kieran…. I'm not even anywhere near close to that mission yet! Where's my boy?!

Branwen is missing too.. no...

No... No no no... I JUST started chapter 4, he can't be gone yet! Are you kidding me?! Is he really gone from the start of the chapter?!I thought he’d be here for at least SOME of it…

Also would the ghosts of Lemoyne Raiders please stop yelling profanities…

Got robbed for $700 in Saint Denis cause I followed a guy down an alley (I figured he would rob me so I took out my knife. No chance to use it as someone hit me from behind.) Woke up in the cemetery, ran back, they're gone. 

Good thing I just fuckin saved. HAHA GOT EM! Oh if I see that guy again I'm just gonna shoot him on the spot wanted level be damned, that was $700.

Well… time to get cleaned up for Mary's mission because Arthur 100% would get cleaned up for her… shave, haircut, new clothes, bath at the saloon, sleep til noon. Ready to feel that heartbreak ..

Idk if the same shows play for the date every time. Well it's a new speech by Al so I'm assuming yes. Yeah Robin is singing a new song so yeah. FIRE LADY (THIS is where her third act is damn it! I knew it happened at some point) Maybe now I'll be able to do that mystery thing now since I’ve seen every act at least once

Alright I’m getting all optional stuff done that I can first, met Charles twice… am I allowed to show Female Presenting Nipple if it’s art? I’ll probably get flagged… oh well, we’ll see when we see. I met with Professor Andrew Bell the 3rd and as much as I don’t really like his mission I’m doing it cause I gotta do everything. Since I had to go to Rhodes for the first part of his mission I ran into Mr. Black and Mr. White (love those two), so I got their first mission done. I was waiting until day for Brother Dorkins (I never realized Rev. Swanson tells you about him...)

JFC I swear my horse doesn’t come unless it can fucking see me…that and it gives up after two seconds.

Ah time to go see Charles but I wanna change clothes so to the stor- FUCKING PICKPOCKETS “just a bit of cash, that’s it!” BRUH THAT WAS $130. That ain’t A BIT. Want me to punch you A BIT?! (nah I didn’t, I lassoed him and got it back.)

I got Arthur a new shirt and he looked so happy Q-Q (also I really like this outfit I put together, I usually don’t make him wear blue…)

Blog Progress Update

Drafts: 59 - Queue:  33

I have to replay the first chapter AGAIN because I deleted Eastward Bound and the following cutscene by mistake, but after I get that I’ll be able to post the remaining cutscene & transcript posts for chapter 1 and FINALLY be able to make and post the app nav for chapter 1.

I have no more location posts in the queue, I have photos I just need to make the posts so we’re down to 3 posts a day for a bit. A mission, a POI, and a newspaper.

Obviously I have no real deadlines for any of this, it’s all personally set goals of how much I want up a day and what. 

I almost have all the photos I need for all of Lemoyne (some are a little harder to figure out what I wanna do when they’re not buildings. Some I can make gifs for... others not so much).

I’m working on before and after photos for certain locations. There’s also at least two that change multiple times throughout the game (Timber Co. and the house being built by the father and his sons).

Once I get all the chapter 2 scenes recorded (cutscenes not camp scenes because... well they’re harder to get clearly) I’ll get back to focusing on locations and character posts.

So far I’ve only begun Abigail’s. I’m still trying to decide how much info and how to organize it for these posts. (Especially for the characters that are also in RDR1 because I feel I should have some things about the first game in there... but I also don’t HAVE the first game so it’ll only be written out things no photos.)

I’m gonna scream… EVERY TIME I try to get a recording of a camp scene… SOMEONE has to walk up to me and say SOMETHING which obvious ruins the thing I was TRYING TO RECORD SUSAN!

Walk into camp and greet Sadie,

FUCK I forgot this is the mission where I have to go back and see Edith FUCK

Alright time to finally go get Tilly’s necklace and Sadie’ Harmonica because I keep forgetting…

Found out the stage coach is still in that river Micah and I left it in… oh and so is that TREE across the road (owwie…)

Got the items and since I had to deal with Emmet Granger to get Sadie’s I’m gonna go deal with the other three, get those outta the way. I do have to do EVERYTHING I can as Arthur to get all his journal pages, the second playthrough he will do absolutely nothing extra, only the bare minimum so john can do everything.

First up is Flaco and OMG I DID NOT NEED DRAMATIC PIANO TO BLAST MY EARDRUMS THANKS

From Flaco yelling from the shack some of the Del Lobo we killed outside were named Anselmo, Elisio, and Gonzalo. No idea which was which unfortunately..

Alright so… I’ve never been good at drawing against Billy Midnight… Arthur I am so sorry for this recurring nightmare you’re about to have.. I SWEAR I’M TRYING- I did it on the second try O_O

*lil Jack voice* I’m getting better! =D

Arthur jumped off the train, knowing it would hurt… but NOT knowing he would get up in just the right way for the train to BONK HIS BRAIN.. He’s okay…he’s okay…

Alright, saved the best and my favorite for last. Into da bayou I go… yet again…

I love Mrs Belle she's so cool.. and pretty… and I like her clothes

I plan on getting through the chapter so I can get to Shady Belle for those camp photos (cause I'm sure the outfits are similar for there if not the same, it's pretty much the same temperature I think. I really wanna get photos of the house.

Great now that Dutch is back in camp he and Molly are fighting… awesome… I got a scene where Molly asks Abigail for advice and Abigail gives it to her straight but Molly isn’t having it… oh Molly..

On the other hand Karen and Sean were hanging out looking out at the water. They did the she looks at him when he's not looking then he looks when she's not looking… she did look mad a few times though…

I'm very curious about why Karen is drinking so much in this chapter.. like it makes sense for after she loses Sean but- ... does she think he only likes her when they're drunk .. cause he thinks she's too much when she’s sober that’s what he said at the party that night… or she just thinks she’s no good when she’s sober... omfg… Karen no Q-Q

Decided to go get Trelawny before going to do John or Hosea's missions so that way I can get him and his scenes at camp before moving.  

Did both his missions… he should be in camp… where the fuck is he?

Bill’s optional stage coach robbery with Tilly popped up so I wanted to get a photo of him with the map before greeting…. Bill… my dude… you know how to read that thing right? Map’s upside buddy…

Tilly, honey, your voice is too nice, you do not sound threatening at all… (I mean she’s probably not actually that mad at Bill… but still) -  Also I would have photos of the map and of Tilly on a horse but I deleted them all by accident T-T

Hopefully Trelawny will be at camp when I get back so I can get some photos of him… swear I had at least a few… but they’re gone…and this was before I deleted the other photos… (Damn magician…)

My journal on the companion app isn’t updating anymore… which sucks because it gave me really clear photos of the pages… maybe if I do another main mission…

AW I missed Trelawny pulling a crow from Susan’s ear to make Karen laugh! DX

Anyone else make sure they walk past people with camp chores (sack, hay, bucket) so that people will comment. Like a child trying to impress their parents. “Look! I do good thing! Praise me!”

Trelawny came up to me “I know you saw me in town with my wife” like dude… if you’re talking about Saint Denis… I’ve seen EVERYONE in that town. But also i never heard the dialogue you hear when you get close enough to where she lives. I don’t think you CAN hear it until Trelawny is in camp/more with the gang.

I still have no idea where the fuck he sleeps. He has no tent… it hasn’t been night yet. I’m just hoping Dutch and Grimshaw don’t yell at me to leave before it becomes night.

Okay i’m bored.

I swear I had Valentine bank photos… now I gotta go BACK ugh.

Okay, back at camp I saw Bill standing by a tree (bright red shirt so I knew it was him) and I get over there and Jack is sitting on the ground behind him “Hiya Arthur” Arthur’s response “Gentlemen” then Jack does the cutest little finger gun in the entire universe LOOK AT THIS PRECIOUS BOY T_T

Well… time to finally head over and help Hosea and get some shots of the manor…

Doing Beau Grey's mission and I had to stop because Arthur's face as he listens to Beau go on and on about the love of his life. My heart… ow…

(Yes I actually spent the time to make the video above... I have too much time on my hands...)

Saw Kieran's fishing mission pop up. Went to Lagras. Realized I hadn't spoken to Mr. Gill yet. Took the camp boat across the lake. Ran back to fast travel to Lagras again. It was night. Helped a man get his home back from nite Folk. Forgot why I went to Lagras in the first place and fast traveled back to camp, remembered AS Arthur was kicking out the fire.

Back to Lagras, got the lures, back to camp .. and now instead Javier is ready to fish…

Wait, hold up… someone explain to me why I just PAID Grimshaw for making me clean up….

Okay people in this camp need to stop looking so damn pretty I have so many filtered photos now it’s ridiculous…. (Idk if I should post them on this blog or my alt rdr blog… I have little collages made, each person with one filter each: Mary-Beth Red Pass, Tilly Yellow, Karen Blue, Sadie Western, Abigail Bleach Bypass, Molly Two-Split. Can't figure out which to use for Grimshaw… I was between Battlefield and Health Tonic for Kieran. )

DAMN IT ARTHUR I wanna GREET Kieran not yell at the poor boy!

The icon appeared for fishing with Kieran and then locked and then I saw him walking over with his fishing rod and it unlocked again and…. BOI the whirlwind of emotions I just went through. (Just watching the scene, this boy makes me do happy arm flaps XD. "Not much of a fisherman" "but I AM") I was taking a photo of him on his horse… and both our horses look high af XD

Caught the big bluegill ^-^ he was excited. Walked him all the way back to camp because I was curious because he started going in the complete opposite direction of camp. He went through the Braithwaite's field (we got yelled at by a guard ..) to the road. We passed by two men blowing open a safe… ended how you expected. Explosions really echo and reach far in the game don't they..

I'm pretty much putting off going into town to see Dutch for as long as possible so onto Lenny's mission!

Went into Rhodes to finally do the moonshine mission and I find a drunk man on a bench. Time to burn some stuff.

One question… did we have to STAB the damn squatters???

Anyway, I got that over with and went back to town. On my way to the mission I heard a woman behind the gunsmith, Arthur saved her. But of course me getting into a fight went against Dutch's "don't cause problems in town" rule. Arthur comes out from behind the building and sees Dutch and Bill on their horses… running away… neat detail, didn't know that would happen. Waited a bit and finally did the moonshine mission. Raced Dutch back and left him in the dust!! Haha! Like there was a good inch between us on the mini map.

Ah the genuine fun and good times..

I found a youtube channel that “datamined” the game to get clean versions of the songs (clean as in no background noise) so I’ll be able to make song posts with lyrics with those videos (obviously the videos will link to that channel still so it's not like I'm reposting the video itself) so I'm gonna start working on those soon.

Blog Progress Update (Travel Blog Style? #16)

I forgot to shave before passing out in the street… damn it.. 

Also I love (and hate) the idea that this guy just found me in the street and decided to DRAG me to the doctors (or maybe he just dragged me out of the middle of the road… cause he does try to get Arthur to wake up and the doc isn't far from where we fell over)

"Not good news" Yep here come the water works.

I made a gif, i’m sure there’s a bunch of these out there of this but I made one anyway..

I'm sure the game didn't think I would actually choose to leave the horses after taking the canoe up river and actually WALK all the way to the cave judging by how Arthur and Charles were yelling despite walking a foot apart. 

But guess what game, I just needed to take a long walk through spooky woods with my boy, the only guy (okay one of two cause John counts but he's not here right now) that has my damn back in this damn camp. 

It was actually rather relaxing… if I didn't think about where we're going or where we were or the fact that Arthur is DYING (I'm not okay)

Damn it the last mission in chapter 5 is just full of so many "oh shit" moments where I remember or hear a line that reminds me what's about to happen. Bringing Meredith home I almost started crying, hearing Molly I had to pause and take breath first… this game is so well done to provoke emotions like this even after years and knowing what’s coming

Oof and the music "I did… I told them!" And the music just gets so much darker and dramatic and UGH I don't like this pain. Yelling at my screen "no she didn't! She's drunk! Susan no!!!" DX but fuck man… she's so heartbroken she's lying so he'll shoot her and/or she's lying cause she knows it'll hurt him cause he’s hurt her… I hate it. 

The fact that Molly didn't get a fucking grave and that they didn't bury her but burned her… I know they didn't know… but she deserved better… and the fact that the chapter screen pops up on that image…

Chapter 6: loads in

Dutch is giving a speech… does he even realize NO ONE is looking at him. Like for his other speeches he had people stop and turn to look or walk over to listen… I think everyone has realized his speeches are just the same. He'd throw himself in the ground in their stead. Yeah, we got it Dutch…

Basically saying pick his side… dude there shouldn't be sides in the first place. You're a self fulfilling prophecy my man… 

Also seeing how the list in my “people” folder for camp stuff keeps getting shorter just HURTS

I am excited about doing Bronte's house's post. Dude has his fucking initials on his damn wallpaper xD

I think you can go inside it in Red Dead Online so I might go back for some more photos (it was very annoying to angle the shots I did take so bodies weren't in frame) if not I can just replay the mission.

Might have to see if I can go into the Mayor's house too cause the party doesn't really let you wander in there unless Luca is with you or you're sneaking

Apparently you have to use a wagon to get to the second floor then go through a window… well this’ll be interesting… just hope I don’t get a session with a lot of players in Saint Denis… ugh I wish it was like GTA V online where you have private lobbies. I hate going onto RDO alone cause I always run into assholes who just wanna kill npcs and players for fun. Well, I will ‘document’ my online adventure as Evangeline (my online OC) who looks like Ciri from Witcher 3 and her Missouri fox trotter Trevor.

Well I found a wagon immediately but it had an open back so i couldn’t climb onto it… now i’m waiting on the either side of a bridge for a good wagon… If i had a trader wagon that might work but I don't… wait... O_O Target acquired.

*Hacker voice* I’m in.

Obviously these photos won’t be as clear cause I can’t turn off blur on the 1st person view thing… Gonna do the same kinda thing I did with the Braithwaite manor post where there is a lil mini map to show which room it is. Gonna make a separate post for the garden in back… and honestly… probably have to make a separate post for each floor… I took a lot of photos...

So yeah that might be the next thing to come out cause I really wanna get that up.

Starting tomorrow (Sunday) there will be five posts from the queue per day. 1 Location, 1 Stranger related post, 1 story mission, 1 Point of Interest, and 1 Newspaper. 5 posts between 10am and 2pm (EDT) (The amount I have now is enough for the rest of the month.)

I was debating whether to post one of each of the three newspapers a day but that's too much so we're just gonna start with the New Hanover Gazette then Blackwater Ledger and finally Saint Denis Times. Most of the newspapers are identical anyways but some have articles added or swapped out.

There are also articles that are contingent on completing certain Stranger Missions and/or Bounties. i.e. you don't get the Black Widow article unless you bring her in.

For my low honor run (I'm finally doing it) I have a few Colter Missions I hadn’t made posts for so I got screenshots for those to make those.Those will come after the story missions that are already in the queue (which is… pretty much all of them but 2)

I need every John drawing I missed, every John entry for stranger stuff. Arthur will ONLY do story stuff (or stuff I hadn’t done for him. Like I think I legit only need a drawing of the mammoth skeli from him). He's not even gonna save random people cause he's gonna be low honor anyway. I mean I'm probably gonna cave and make him do the Edith Downes missions in chapter 6 cause redemption (and John can’t do those anyway) but until then we're mean >=T

I’m also working on a timeline for mission events but it’s gonna be from the order that makes the most sense to me (nothing official) so I’ll be doing that as I play this time.

Alright, low honor blogging here we go.

So far I haven’t antagonized anyone but Kieran (which kills me T_T) but I just don’t wanna be mean to anyone and at least being mean to Kieran seems reasonable for canon reasons. But I also haven’t greeted anyone but Javier in Colter.

Chapter 2 I started with Swanson’s mission (which is what I always do anyway) and skipped poker, tried to be low honor and just shot the guy fighting Swanson then the witness but shooting the witness made a cop spawn and I failed. 

Moving on to Uncle’s mission, I don’t think there’s an option not to help the coach guy but it makes sense for Arthur to help cause the women are there. Now… Jimmy Brooks… sorry buddy… wish I could get the pen from him but oh well. I didn’t return the “borrowed” horse >=D

Javier telling me to hurry up because they have drinks waiting… *violently mashing to get Tommy OFF Arthur*  I’M A LITTLE BUSY BUDDY 

Okay Trelawny is in his Blue suit when he meets up with us here. Good to know

I always get Kieran off the tree asap which would be next since it’s night as my face was being smushed into the mud. I’d say I’ll do that, then go get Sean. (I normally do Hosea and Strauss’ stuff after Kieran’s mission but I’m trying to do this more realistically. (give Charles a day or so to find out about Sean, give Javier and Trelawny some time to meet up with Charles (because Javier goes with Trelawny - for what, i don’t remember) So I’d say there’s enough time to start the next day, after the bar fight, with Kieran’s mission then maybe talk to Strauss about money lending, go to Painted Sky and get that done since it’s across the river then move on to Sean’s mission (leaving the Emerald Ranch debt and Downes for later) I’ll do the ER debt when me and Hosea go there later.

I just antagonized Bill after greeting him since he’s on guard duty when I came back and Arthur said “That ain’t good enough. Hello.” “Yes, hello Arthur.” Bill’s already done with my shit XD

Apparently that one time I greeted Javier back in Colter must have registered to the entire gang that I was nice because Bill was confused as heck as to why I was suddenly “acting like this” when I antagonized him the next morning so…. Gotta antagonize more… People I REFUSE to antagonize: Tilly, Charles, Mary-Beth, Karen, Hosea, Lenny, Abigail, and Jack. Everyone else is free game. Maybe I’ll antagonize some of them but I will never ever ever disrespect Tilly, Charles, Hosea, or Lenny… I love them too much… okay maybe not Abi either… (it’s hard being mean!)

I can already say (figuring out the timeline wise) I hate that I’m making myself do this because starting out Blackwater heist was May, Hosea says it’s still May, Arthur’s journal however (that he narrates as he writes it the next morning) says they’ve been running for WEEKS … BUT… there’s NO WAY Davey would’ve survived longer than three days with a gut shot wound… even three is pushing it but Dutch said he hasn’t slept for three days so logically they’ve been “running” for three days? unless he just took over driving for three days.. I DUNNO… This is way too fucking complicated… Why do I do this to myself…

Blog Progress Update (Travel Blog Style 😎#12)

100% forgot that we get to rob a stagecoach with Sean and Mary-Beth.

Ya know… we get to do a robbery of some sort with every girl but Abigail (which makes sense) and Molly (makes even more sense).

Got the story bank robbery with Karen(and Lenny and Bill), Tilly (and Bill), then now Mary-Beth (and Sean). All in chapter 3.

Arthur asks what Sean's doing when he sees him looking at a map

"Nothing, nothing at all!"
